A trophic pyramid is a diagram that shows what organisms eat and how energy is transferred from each one. In my case the grass is at the bottom of the pyramid because plants don't exactly eat. But the reason why they have such a high energy number is because it is getting all of it's energy directly from the sun. Then the grasshopper eats the grass but 90% of the energy is lost when it is transferred. Then the cycle repeats again with the frog. Now it goes to the category that my animal falls in, the snake. But unfortunately, as menacing the King Cobra is, it's not on top of the food chain, being beaten out of the hawk. Once the energy from the grass gets to the hawk, it only contains only 1/10,000 of the energy that the grass originally had.
